ABOUT ME
The first thing you'll notice is that I don't play guitar like everyone else - I tap it very fast with my fingertips whilst smashing out drum beats, and my guitar's on my lap.
More importantly tho, I really care about songs and melodies and lyrics and communicating something when I sing. I put everything of myself into my music, and the fact I do mad stuff on guitar is just extra really.
This year I've been recording my debut album, and with an extraordinary team of producers and musicians I think we've achieved my own personal holy grail - pushing the boundaries of the guitar, but using only awesome songs.
Do watch a video if you have 5 minutes, and please say hello - I'd love to hear from you! xWEBTERACT-O-SPECTRUM

GREAT SCOTT!
Posted on March 15, 2010 | 5 CommentsThis year I’ll start be doing a monthly residency at London’s Ronnie Scott’s Club. Most people know it as the home of jazz music in the UK, but it actually puts on a wide variety of music, including these nights run by the wonderful Vaz... -
LIVE DATES
Posted on March 15, 2010 | No CommentsThe band and I, or Jake Morley And The Replaceables as I’m pretending to call us to annoy John and Harry, eased back into live performance with a few consecutive dates last week. The always-wonderful TABARNAK totally acoustic night, Shuga Buddha‘s night at Balham’s fine... -
WHAT A MESS
Posted on March 15, 2010 | No CommentsBooooo! we tried to mix the album, but the studio we’d hired kept having technical problems – crashing desks, computers, ProTools…. you name it. Eventually we had to cancel the sessions! Rather disappointing… The plan now is to start mixing all over again from the...
